Course Details:

The aim of this course is to understand how to manage angina, and conduct good patient care before and after the episode.

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.

If you achieve 80% or more you pass the course, and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and take the assessment again when you feel confident.

Aims:

The aim of this course is to understand how to manage angina, and conduct good patient care before and after the episode.

Objectives:

Learners will be able to:

  • Recognise the sign and symptoms of angina attacks in patients attending for dental treatment.
  • Respond immediately to a patient suffering from an angina attack.
  • Care for the patient in an appropriate way following all practice protocols.

  • How to manage patients with angina in the dental practice.
  • Good patient care pre and post angina attacks.
  • Practice protocol for dealing with angina.
