Course Details:

This course takes a look at the process of audit, and why it is important in the delivery of clinical governance and the consistent provision of patient care.

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.

If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.

Aims:

This course aims to outline the necessity for audit and risk assessment in line with the General Dental Council and Care Quality Commission's required standards.

Objectives:

  • Identify the fundamental standards required by the process of audit.
  • Conduct an audit that is informative to the improvement of the delivery of service to patients.
