Course Details:

The aim of this course is to help guide staff on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and how this information should be applied in their daily working lives. 

This course forms part of a blended learning training tool and is designed to support practical learning which is the prefered method of learning by the GDC for CPR/BLS/AED. 

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.

If you achieve 80% or more you will pass the course and receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and take the assessment again when you feel confident.

Aims:

The aim of this course is to help guide staff with their understanding of how to use Automated External Defibrillators and how this information should be applied in their daily working lives.

  • Recall when an AED should be used 
  • Display the use of an AED
