Course Details:
This course takes an in-depth look at the responsibilities of those referring or delegating work and the responsibilities of dental registrants accepting referred or delegated work.
You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.
If you achieve 80% or more, you will pass the course and receive a printable certificate in your CPD folder.
If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.
Aims:
This course aims to define requirements for external referrals whilst highlighting appropriate work allocation and delegation within the practice.
Objectives:
They will be able to:
- Identify suitable delegations and work referrals in line with GDC Scope of Practice
- Implement delegations and work referrals are appropriate
- Record processes to ensure that monitoring processes are in place for quality assurance purposes
