Course Details:

This course will teach learners to understand the importance of environmental cleaning and maintenance within a dental practice. The importance of practice policy is highlighted, along with references to industry standards such as the National Patient Safety Agency colour coding scheme.

Dental practices need to demonstrate that they provide and maintain a clean and appropriate environment that facilitates the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections.

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.

If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident. 


This course will provide learners with an understanding of the maintenance of a clean environment within a dental surgery.
