Course Details:

This course is aimed at GDC registered dental professionals with the added scope of practice for impression taking.

Helping develop and enhance impression techniques and underpin the knowledge needed to decontaminate and store dental impressions.

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment.

If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and take the assessment again when you feel confident. 

Aims:

The aim of this course is to detail impression materials, techniques and protocols.

Objectives:

 Learners will be able to:

  • Set up a surgery for impression taking
  • Select correct trays for impression taking
  • Decontaminate and store dental impressions
