Course Details:

This course provides learners with knowledge around infection control and decontamination in the dental practice.

You will be presented with a short presentation followed by an assessment. If you achieve 80% or more you pass the course, and will receive a printable certificate to place in your CPD folder. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and take the assessment again when you feel confident. 

Aims:

The aim of this course is to equip learners with up to date knowledge in all areas of infection control within practice.

Objectives:

  • Recall all aspects of preventing infection in a clinical environment

  • Explain their role and their responsibilities within their role
  • Create and maintain comprehensive validation records
  • Detail what will need to be evidenced in an inspection
