Course Details

  • This course looks at trust and integrity, and how individual dental team members can ensure that their behaviour meets the high standards of reliability and honesty in line with patient expectations. 
  • You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
  • Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
  • If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

The aim of this course is outline legal requirements, rules, and guidance relevant to the expectations of dental professionals' personal and professional behaviour.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to understand how to:

  • Inform the GDC if an individual is subject to criminal proceedings or a regulatory finding is made against them.
  • Cooperate with any relevant formal or informal inquiries and provide relevant information. 
  • Consider and evaluate the impact of their behaviour on themselves, their practice, and the wider dental profession.
