Surface Cleaning

Course Details

• This course will provide learners with an understanding of what is meant by surface cleaning and when it should be performed.
• You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
• Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
• If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

Aims

This course will provide learners with an understanding of what is meant by surface cleaning is and when it should be performed. 

Objectives

 During this course learners will be able to:

• Understand the term disinfection.
• Understand when surface cleaning should be performed.
• Know when and why alcohol-based products can and cannot be used.
• Know when and how spray products should be used.

Learning Outcomes

After completion of this course the learner will gain an understanding of:

• The term disinfection.
• When surface cleaning should be applied in a dental practice.
• Why alcohol-based products can be used, and how they can be implemented into daily practice.
• When spray products can be used, and the correct use for these products.
