Course Details

  • This course describes the fundamentals of ethical sales and finance in a Treatment Coordinator's role. 
  • You will be presented with a coursebook followed by an assessment with options for feedback and reflection.
  • Once you have achieved a mark of 80% or more, you will be presented with a certificate to download.
  • If you do not pass you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment.

The course aims to highlight areas of importance in ethical sales and finance. 

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

  • Understand the use of role-play as a training aid.
  • Create advertising material in line with guidance from the General Dental Council on ethical sales.
  • Discuss fees confidently to provide patients with relevant options.

After completing this course the learner will gain an understanding of:

  • The importance of the patient journey.
  • The General Dental Council's Standards for the Dental Team, including core ethical principles.
  • The concepts of reactive and proactive sales.
